On May 1, 2019, 31-year-old Terry Wayne Bonner Jr. was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of 9th Avenue West. Birmingham Police officers responded to reports of a person shot and discovered Bonner lying unresponsive in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
