In the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a story of a life cut short unfolded on a Friday evening. Erick Jackson, a 34-year-old man, was fatally wounded by gunfire on November 16, 2018. The incident that led to his untimely death is believed to have started at a gas station located on 20th Street.
