On February 7, 2018, 17-year-old Daniel Rickett disappeared from his home in Birmingham, Alabama. His mother, Jennifer Rickett, reported that she awoke to find the back door open and Daniel missing, leaving behind his phone and personal belongings. Despite extensive searches and public appeals, no leads emerged regarding his whereabouts.
