In the summer of 2014, the life of a 35-year-old Black/African American man named Kedrick LeKee Jones was cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. Jones passed away on July 20, 2014, a date that would forever be etched in the memories of his loved ones. His death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remembered him through a funeral service held the following Saturday at the First Missionary Baptist Church in White Hall.
