In the winter of 2022, the life of 19-year-old Eric Surles Jr., a male resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was cut short by gunfire. On the evening of Friday, January 21st, police were called to the 2400 block of Alabama River Parkway, where they discovered Surles with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
