In the late summer evening of August 25, 2023, the life of 66-year-old Rickey Daniel, a male resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Responders arriving at the 4200 block of Sussex Drive at approximately 7:55 p.m. found Mr. Daniel with fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The initial investigation into his death quickly became a homicide case, believed to have occurred during the commission of a robbery and burglary.
