On the evening of December 1, 2017, in Montgomery, Alabama, 32-year-old Vantrell Flynn, an African American male, was fatally shot in an incident that authorities would later describe as stemming from a domestic dispute. The shooting occurred around 6 p.m. in the 7000 block of Taylor Crossing.
