On a Sunday evening in September 2015, in Montgomery, Alabama, 20-year-old Dundrell Jarrod Young, a Black male, was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of a Burger King on East South Boulevard. The incident was the result of a planned robbery. Young had intended to sell a rifle that day and was accompanied by a friend.
