Gregory Sawyers, 34, was fatally shot on July 27, 2013, in Louisville, Kentucky. His death drew significant attention as Sawyers was a key witness in a high-profile murder case. Despite surviving two previous attempts on his life, he was ultimately killed before he could testify. The case led to the arrest of Orlando Gilmore and Odell Robinson, who were both charged in connection with the homicide. The shooting occurred near the intersection of Clay Street and Broadway.
