In the early morning hours of Friday, October 2, 2015, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in a Birmingham, Alabama neighborhood, leaving one man dead. The victim was later identified as 46-year-old Aubrey Herren, a Black male known to his loved ones as a good man who would give you his last.
