On the morning of September 25, 2021, Marion Reynolds Jr., age 61, was fatally shot while walking his dog in the 3900 block of Mineral Avenue Southwest, Birmingham. Responding officers found Reynolds unresponsive in the street. He had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
