On a September day in 2008, the life of Andree Devore 'ATL' Frierson, a 28-year-old African-American man, was cut short in his own home. On September 12th, Frierson was discovered fatally shot inside his residence at 116 60th Street North in Birmingham, Alabama. His death was the result of a dispute that had taken place earlier in the day, an altercation reportedly over money.
