Death by Force

Nathaniel Ladell Young Jr., a 23-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on January 1, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred near the intersection of Graymont Avenue and Center Street, where Young Jr. was one of two men found injured inside a vehicle. Authorities believe the shooting may have taken place earlier at the same location before the victims were discovered. Young Jr. was transported to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
