In the evening hours of November 2, 2015, the life of 23-year-old Juloshiby Dontrell Lawrence, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of gunfire in the central part of the city, police discovered Lawrence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead a short time later.
