In the fading days of a Birmingham September, a burst of violence in a parking lot on 2nd Avenue North forever altered the course of a young man's life. On the evening of September 28, 2025, 21-year-old Quandarus Boston was walking through the lot when multiple gunshots shattered the night air. He was struck by the gunfire as he neared a vehicle.
