In the fall of 2015, a violent encounter in the Pratt City neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, ended the life of 27-year-old Justin Poole. On the evening of Saturday, November 7, 2015, Poole was shot while in a vehicle. Following the shooting, the car he was in crashed into a vacant house. First responders arrived at the scene to find him suffering from his injuries. Despite medical efforts, Poole succumbed to the gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead.
