On January 8, 2023, 23-year-old Destin Rashard Holley of Montgomery, Alabama, was found deceased in the Fosters community of Tuscaloosa County. Early that morning, authorities responded to two separate locations: one on Interstate 20/59 near mile marker 62, where a body was discovered after being struck by a vehicle, and another on Frog Ridge Road, where a second body was located. The victims were identified as Holley and 23-year-old Justin Michael Whitfield, also from the Montgomery area.
