On January 8, 2023, 23-year-old Justin Michael Whitfield was found deceased in the Fosters community of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Early that morning, a motorist reported striking a body on Interstate 20/59 near mile marker 62. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Whitfield's body and determined that his death was not caused by the collision but by prior injuries.
