A quiet street in Birmingham's Ensley neighborhood became the scene of a tragedy in the spring of 2016, leaving a family to mourn the loss of 31-year-old Martez Santoine Taylor. A male resident of Birmingham, his life was cut short by gunfire on the evening of Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
