On January 12, 2022, 18-year-old De'Undray Nakil Haggard was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. in the Kimbrough Homes Housing Community, located in the 2900 block of John Bryant Road. Responding officers found Haggard on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
