On December 14, 2021, 22-year-old Courtney Woods and his 23-year-old brother, Lorenzo Woods, were fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. at a Shell gas station on East Lake Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found Lorenzo suffering from gunshot wounds outside the station; he was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
