On a late Sunday night in Birmingham, Alabama, on June 10, 2018, the life of 28-year-old Antonio Jerrell Taylor, an African American male, was tragically cut short. The fatal incident occurred outside a Shell gas station located in the 800 block of Third Avenue West. When Birmingham Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Taylor with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was quickly transported to UAB Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injury.
