On December 24, 2021, at approximately 3:20 a.m., 42-year-old Shaun Rhudy was fatally shot outside Marty's PM, a bar located at 1813 10th Court South in Birmingham, Alabama. Rhudy, who was working at the establishment, was found unresponsive at the entrance, suffering from a gunshot wound. Another male victim was discovered in a nearby parking lot, also with a gunshot wound; he was transported to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
