On June 20, 2017, 20-year-old Antonio Jerome Brooks II was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred when a young man, fleeing after stealing his grandmother's credit card, fired shots at his father during a pursuit. Tragically, Brooks, a passerby, was struck and killed by the gunfire.
