On June 16, 2019, 24-year-old Nicklous Latterrious Marina of Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot during the commission of a robbery. The incident occurred while Marina and an accomplice, Reynold Laurie Sylvester, were engaged in a robbery attempt. During the course of the crime, Sylvester shot Marina, resulting in his death.
