On February 5, 2020, two-year-old Kaiden Ford was found unresponsive at a residence on Florentine Circle in an unincorporated area near Birmingham, Alabama. Emergency responders transported him to Children's of Alabama hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation, deeming the circumstances of his death suspicious.
