On a Friday evening in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 29-year-old Richard Lee Samuels was tragically cut short. On October 1, 2021, Samuels was found dead in the Jones Valley neighborhood, the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident that claimed the young man's life unfolded in the parking lot of a Chevron gas station.
