On December 22, 2022, 37-year-old Orlando Dewaun Ruffin was fatally shot during a dispute at a residence on Beulah Avenue in Birmingham, Alabama. The argument, which escalated into violence, resulted in Ruffin sustaining critical injuries from gunfire. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
