Death by Force

On March 3, 2024, at approximately 2:35 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot at a residence in the 900 block of Dugan Avenue, located in the North Pratt neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 21-year-old Phong Nguyen unresponsive inside the home, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced Nguyen deceased at the scene.
