On November 8, 2019, Shane Nelson, a 38-year-old man from the Denver, Colorado area, met a tragic and gruesome end at the hands of his long-time friend, Russell Montoya Jr. The incident occurred at Montoya's residence in unincorporated Adams County, Colorado.
