In the spring of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Demonteco Usher was tragically cut short. On the evening of May 9, 2021, in Birmingham, Alabama, multiple gunshots rang out on Interlaken Avenue. When Birmingham Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Usher, who had been fatally wounded. He was pronounced dead at the location. At the time of his death, Demonteco was a student at Woodlawn High School.
