Joshua James Allums, a 27-year-old male from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on December 23, 2024. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Polly Reed Road in Center Point, where they discovered Allums suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
