In the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a late afternoon in March of 2020 turned fatal for Corey Rahmon Cook Jr. The 25-year-old male was found unresponsive on March 31st, lying in the roadway next to a vehicle in the 1100 block of 16th Street. The discovery was made shortly after 5 p.m. following reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Avenue H.
