Death by Force

On December 13, 2003, 28-year-old Warren Sims was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. when Sims visited a store in the 2400 block of Avenue E. As he exited the store, two suspects followed him and opened fire as he attempted to flee. Sims was transported to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. At the time of his death, he was a husband and father of three children.
