Marcus Jermaine Felder, a 30-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically killed on January 30, 2017, in a shooting that has since been classified as a homicide. Felder was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the area of 16th Street North, a part of the city that had seen several violent incidents in the months leading up to his death.
