On May 18, 2024, Da'ondre Bullock, an 18-year-old from Columbus, Ohio, was tragically killed in a shooting incident that also claimed the lives of two other individuals. The shooting occurred around 2:45 a.m. in the Italian Village neighborhood, specifically near the MIA Hookah Café at the intersection of East Fifth Avenue and Summit Street.
