Lemijamin Jarquis Watters, a 27-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was found shot to death on March 15, 2025. Authorities discovered his body at the intersection of Avenue E and 16th Street in the Ensley neighborhood. Officers responding to the scene found Watters lying unresponsive in the roadway, suffering from an unknown trauma. Medics later confirmed that he had been shot.
