In the Inglenook neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a community was shaken by the violent end to a young man's life. Anthony Dewantez Jones, a 28-year-old Black male also known as 'Scooter,' was standing in a driveway in the 4000 block of 38th Avenue North, across from Inglenook Park, on the evening of February 10, 2015. It was then that a vehicle drove by, and shots were fired, striking Jones. The incident was a drive-by shooting that left him fatally wounded.
