On February 10, 2015, 28-year-old Anthony Dewantez "Scooter" Jones was fatally shot in a drive-by incident while standing on a driveway in the 4000 block of 38th Avenue North, across from Inglenook Park in Birmingham, Alabama. The shooting occurred in the Inglenook neighborhood, a residential area known for its community park and local residences.
