In the late summer of 2018, a father's life was cut short by violence on the streets of Birmingham, Alabama. Brandon Lee Wilson, a 30-year-old man from McCalla, was fatally shot on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. The incident was one of four homicides to occur in the city on that day alone.
