On April 18, 2021, 18-year-old Tyree Marcell Brown was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred at Wilson's Grocery Store, located at 1200 Five Mile Road. According to the Birmingham Police Department, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a vehicle entered the store's parking lot, and an unknown occupant began firing shots, striking Brown. He was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
