On June 13, 2024, 62-year-old Dwight Lemar McCall was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident in Birmingham, Alabama. The collision occurred in the 8300 block of 1st Avenue North, near East Lake Park, during the early morning hours. Responding officers discovered McCall's body around 4:50 a.m., and he was pronounced dead shortly after 5:00 a.m.
