In the fading daylight of a Sunday evening in March 2014, a young man's life was cut short by gunfire in a Birmingham city park. Timothy Austin, a 23-year-old male, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the driver's seat of his vehicle at Harrison Park. The discovery was made by a Birmingham Police officer on routine patrol who noticed the car oddly positioned on the grass.
