Jermaine Johnson, a 33-year-old Black man from Birmingham, was killed after a shooting in the city’s Central Park area on October 19, 2007. Online reports place the gunfire that evening on South Park Road near Fulton Avenue, with one account describing the scene as the South Park apartment complex at South Park Drive and South Park Terrace.
