On August 5, 2021, 49-year-old Timothy Lashawn Erby and 66-year-old Ellis Lewis Embry were found deceased from gunshot wounds inside Embry's residence located in the 1000 block of 42nd Place North, Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 1:15 p.m., South Precinct officers responded to a report of a person shot at the residence.
