In the summer of 2021, a tragedy unfolded in a Birmingham, Alabama home, leaving two men dead from apparent gunshot wounds. On August 5th, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1000 block of 42nd Place North. Inside the residence, they discovered the bodies of 49-year-old Timothy Lashawn Erby, a male, and 66-year-old Ellis Lewis Embry. Erby was found in the kitchen, while Embry was located in a hallway. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel. ...
