Marion Cedric Poole, an 18-year-old Black male from Fairfield, was found lying unresponsive with a gunshot wound in an alley in Birmingham just before 5 p.m. on June 16, 2025. Officers had been dispatched to the 4000 block of Avenue H in the Ensley area after residents reported gunfire; early police communications also referenced Terrace G, which runs parallel to Avenue H.
