On a warm Labor Day in 2020, the life of Marquency JaJuan Primm, a 26-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. The evening of September 7th took a grim turn when Primm was shot at an apartment complex in the city. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
