On September 7, 2020, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a shooting at 2500 Aspen Run in South Birmingham. Upon arrival, they found 26-year-old Marquency JaJuan Primm suffering from gunshot wounds. Primm was transported to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 3:36 a.m. the following day.
