On September 23, 2022, at approximately 4:56 a.m., 41-year-old Brian Allen Wyatt of Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally injured when he was struck by a vehicle in the driveway of a McDonald's restaurant located at 2700 University Boulevard in Birmingham. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office confirmed that Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene. The Birmingham Police Department initiated an investigation to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
