On August 9, 2016, 21-year-old Calvin Foster was found fatally shot in the head outside The Oaks at Springville Apartments on Earline Circle in northeast Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5 p.m., and initial investigations suggested possible illegal drug activity at the scene.
