On September 15, 2016, 23-year-old George Arthur Crenshaw Jr. was fatally shot outside the Town Park Apartments on the 6200 block of Crest Green Road in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred in the Oak Ridge Park area, where Crenshaw was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
