In the community near Cheraw, South Carolina, a 28-year-old man named James Henderson experienced a terrifying end to his life in January 2017. On a Saturday night, after returning to his residence on Hillian Edwards Road, he expressed to witnesses that he believed people were trying to kill him. This fear seemed to materialize when he received a series of phone calls, with the final one luring him outside of his home. Once outside, Henderson was shot multiple times.
